What Are You Talking About?
I know its not a popular opinion. No I am not trying to virtue signal. I’m simply pointing out the efficiency and why it’s good to pay taxes at least in theory. Think about it. The government lets you deduct from your taxes for doing their job more efficiently. Normally you’d give them money and blindly hope (not necessarily trust) that they use the money you give them wisely. On the other hand if you go out of your way and choose what to donate to after doing your research you are actually doing the government’s job with almost none of the bureaucracy. This is exactly how the wealthy run the world. Better yet you get to decide on your own where the money goes.
The People’s Choice
This is literally direct input from ‘the people’ since YOU are the people. Perhaps people should not be so bitter that the wealthy get to use these “loopholes.” Granted there are many reasons to do what people do but at the end of the day all corruption hides behind plausible deniability and that deniability has its own tax…. it’s own cost… because at the very minimum the wealthy still pay. Some of you might be more familiar with phase “more money more problems.” If you really care about the world and the people in it you need to find a way to up your pay ethically and while you do that go ahead figure out what you are going to do with it. I’m not playing games with you.
